Mission

My mission is to offer a genuine, supportive therapeutic experience that fosters personal growth, emotional mastery, and a strong sense of self-efficacy in every individual I work with.

Core Values

The core values that guide my practice are:

Growth - I believe in the inherent capacity for growth and evolvement within every individual. My role as a therapist is to help illuminate the path and empower clients to navigate it with confidence.

Mastery - I believe in supporting clients in building competence in managing their challenges and reaching their goals.

Efficacy- I believe that one has the power to influence their own outcomes. By fostering a sense of autonomy and mastery in clients, they are encouraged to take ownership and embrace their personal journey.

Modalities

I have specialized training in several evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including EMDR, EFT, DBT, and Polyvagal Theory. I stay current with the latest developments in these approaches to ensure I’m providing the most effective treatment for my clients. My therapeutic style is eclectic—I draw from a range of modalities and tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each individual I work with.

Learn about my practice

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with over 17 years of experience in the mental health field. I earned my Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling from Siena Heights University in 2003. I hold certifications in the treatment of Sexual Addiction, Financial Disorders, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and I am also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), and HeartMath.

My clinical focus includes Attachment Disorders, Complex Trauma, Financial Disorders, Intimate Partner Violence, Pornography Addiction, PTSD, Sex Addiction, and Women’s Issues.

Before entering into private practice, I served as the Outpatient Director at Rosemont Center in Columbus, Ohio, from 2010 to 2012, where I worked closely with youth and families. I also provided clinical services at Choices, a domestic violence organization, in 2008.

Prior to becoming a psychotherapist, I spent several years working in the finance and banking industry, which continues to inform my work with clients facing financial stressors and compulsive behaviors.

Let's work together on your journey.
