What Is EFT Tapping?

EFT is a somatic technique that combines gentle tapping on acupressure points with verbal statements that acknowledge distress, emotions, or beliefs. This process helps:

  • Regulate the nervous system

  • Decrease emotional overwhelm

  • Reduce anxiety, shame, or trauma responses

  • Shift stuck beliefs or internalized messages

  • Promote a felt sense of calm and self-connection

 Tapping can be a stand-alone approach or used alongside therapies like EMDR, DBT, and trauma-informed talk work depending on your needs and goals.
